IN THE HOUSE:
The COPE bill sponsored by Rep. Joe Barton, just passed the House subcommittee.
The next steps with respect to that bill:
IT IS LIKELY THAT THE FULL COMMITTEE WOULD MARK-UP THE BILL ON THE WEEK OF APRIL 26, AND THE HOUSE WOULD VOTE IN MAY OR JUNE ON THE BILL
IT IS IMPORTANT TO TRY TO SEEK ANY AMENDMENTS IN THE HOUSE AT THE COMMITTEE LEVEL, AND NOT TO ASSUME THAT THERE WILL BE OPPORTUNITIES TO OBTAIN AMENDMENTS WHEN AND IF THE BILL GOES BEFORE THE FULL HOUSE.
Contact information for full committee may be found at:

However the COPE bill is not the only possible vehicle for action on Net Neutrality; there are reports that the Judiciary Cmte may also get involved:

But the House could move quickly on this legislation.
